Claire Armstrong is an award-winning Canadian actress, best known for her roles in the films “The Last Supper” and “The Secret Life of Bees”. She has also appeared in a number of television series, including “The X-Files”, “Dawson’s Creek”, and “Beverly Hills 90210”.

Claire Armstrong was born in Toronto, Canada in 1971. She grew up performing in school plays and musicals, and was the lead in her high school's production of “Our Town”. After graduating, she attended the prestigious Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto, where she honed her craft as a stage actress.

In 1996, Armstrong made her film debut in the Canadian drama “The Last Supper”. The film earned her a Genie Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She followed this up with a small role in the 1998 drama “The Secret Life of Bees”, which starred Oscar winners Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson, and Alicia Keys.

Claire Armstrong also enjoyed success in television. She appeared in two episodes of “The X-Files”, and had a recurring role in the hit teen drama “Dawson’s Creek”. She also appeared in several episodes of “Beverly Hills 90210”, where she played the love interest of Jason Priestly’s character, Brandon Walsh.

In addition to acting, Claire Armstrong is also an accomplished singer and dancer. She has performed in musicals such as “Grease”, “The Music Man”, and “Funny Girl”. She has also released two solo albums, “A Little Bit of Love” in 2003 and “Nobody's Fool” in 2005.

Claire Armstrong is an active philanthropist, and has donated her time and money to numerous charities, including the Make a Wish Foundation and UNICEF. She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to pursue her career as an actress. She is married to fellow actor and singer-songwriter Josh Groban.
