Cierra Ramirez is an American actress and singer-songwriter, best known for her role as “Mariana Adams-Foster” in the Freeform drama series The Fosters (2013–2018). She was born on March 9, 1995, in Houston, Texas. Her mother is Mexican and her father is Honduran. She is the youngest of four siblings.

At the age of six, Cierra began acting in local theater productions. In 2006, she made her TV debut in the Lifetime film The Purpose. The following year, she was cast in the hit Nickelodeon TV series Zoey 101 (2007–2008) as “Dana Cruz”. She also appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program (2009) as “Princess Rosalinda”.

In 2013, Cierra was cast in the Freeform drama series The Fosters. She played the role of “Mariana Adams-Foster”, the adopted daughter of two moms. She was a series regular for five seasons, appearing in 83 episodes. She also voiced the character of “Dahlia” in the animated series Elena of Avalor (2016–2018).

In 2018, Cierra was cast in the Netflix comedy series The Perfect Date, starring alongside Noah Centineo and Laura Marano. She then went on to star in the Netflix romantic comedy series My First First Love (2019). She is currently voicing the character of “Kiara” in the animated series Amphibia (2019–present).

In addition to acting, Cierra is also an accomplished singer and songwriter. In 2018, she released her debut single “Faded”. She released her debut EP, Bad Ideas, in 2019.

Cierra is an active supporter of various charities, including the Children’s Miracle Network, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, and the Humane Society. She is also an ambassador for the organization Step Up, which helps teenage girls from underprivileged backgrounds.

Cierra is a talented and versatile actress, singer, and songwriter. Over the course of her career, she has won numerous awards and accolades, including a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Star: Female. She is an inspiration to many young women, and she continues to use her platform to advocate for causes she believes in.
