Chuck Baldwin is an American actor best known for his roles in the television shows "Saturday Night Live" and "The Cosby Show." Born in April 1948 in New York City, he grew up in Queens and attended the High School of Performing Arts. After graduating, he attended New York University, where he studied theater and acting.

Baldwin's first big break came when he was cast as a series regular on "Saturday Night Live" in 1980. His characters on the show were known for their outrageous impressions of celebrities, and he was a favorite among the show's fans. He also appeared in the films "The World According to Garp" and "The King of Comedy."

Baldwin's most famous role was on "The Cosby Show," where he played the role of Theo Huxtable, the eldest son of Bill Cosby's character, Cliff Huxtable. Baldwin's character was portrayed as confident, intelligent, and witty. He often clashed with his father but was also a source of comfort and support.

Baldwin then went on to appear in numerous movies and television shows, including "The Golden Girls," "Frasier," "Murphy Brown," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Family Matters," and "Murder, She Wrote." He also had a recurring role on the NBC comedy "Friends" as Pete, the boyfriend of Monica Geller (Courteney Cox).

Baldwin's most recent role was as the voice of the villainous Dr. Claw in the 2020 animated feature film "Inspector Gadget." He has also had roles in the video games "Halo 3" and "Grand Theft Auto V."
