Christy Hedrick is an American actress known for her work in television, film, and theater. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised in the nearby city of Murfreesboro. She attended Belmont University, where she earned a BFA in theater with a concentration in performance.

Hedrick began her career as a stage actress, appearing in numerous regional theater productions. Her first major role was in a production of Our Town at the Tennessee Repertory Theatre. She then went on to play leading roles in productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Crucible, and The Miracle Worker.

In 2013, she made her television debut on the popular ABC drama Nashville. She played the recurring role of Vivian, a young woman with a troubled past. After her stint on Nashville, she appeared in several short films and made guest appearances on shows like The Vampire Diaries and The Librarians.

In 2016, Hedrick had her first major film role in the romantic comedy Don’t Let Go. She portrayed the role of a young woman trying to make her way in a new city. The film was a critical success and earned her a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award.
