Christopher Ward (born July 20, 1966) is an American actor, filmmaker, and producer. He is best known for his roles in the films Boogie Nights (1997), The Perfect Storm (2000), and The Upside of Anger (2005).

Born in Washington, D.C., Ward moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to pursue an acting career. He immediately began taking classes and participating in student films at UCLA and the American Film Institute. After a few small roles in television and films, Ward made his feature film debut in the Paul Thomas Anderson film Boogie Nights (1997). In the film, he played the role of Todd Parker, a young porn star.

Ward’s performance in Boogie Nights garnered critical acclaim and helped him land roles in a number of other films, including The Perfect Storm (2000) and The Upside of Anger (2005). In The Perfect Storm, he played Bobby Shatford, a young fisherman who joins a crew on a fateful fishing trip. In The Upside of Anger, he played the role of Terry Wolfmeyer, a young man who is struggling with his mother’s emotional distance.

Ward has also appeared in a number of television shows, including JAG, 24, and Cold Case. In addition to acting, Ward has written and directed a number of short films and documentaries, including the award-winning documentary The Children of the King (2003). He has also produced several feature films, including The Perfect Storm.

Ward is currently working on a number of projects, including a feature film about the life of singer/songwriter John Prine. He is also producing a television series about the life of legendary actor Marlon Brando.

Throughout his career, Ward has always strived to bring powerful, compelling stories to the screen. His work has earned him numerous awards, including a Golden Globe nomination for Boogie Nights.
