Christoph Jacobi is a German actor, director and writer, best known for his work in various film and television productions, including “Kolle”, “Der Untergang der Titanic” and “Der Auftrag”. Born in Berlin in 1971, Christoph Jacobi started out his career as a stage actor, appearing in several plays between 1989 and 1991. He then went on to pursue a career in film and television, and in 1994 had his first role in a feature film with “Der Auftrag”.

Over the next few years, Christoph Jacobi featured in a number of films, including “Kolle”, where he played a police officer, and “Der Untergang der Titanic”, where he played a sailor. He also made a number of guest appearances in television series such as “The West Wing” and “Law & Order”.

In 2004, Christoph Jacobi wrote, directed and starred in “Kolle: Ein Tag”, a short film which won the German Film Award for Best Short Film. This success led to him writing and directing two feature films: “Der Fall” in 2005 and “Geschichte” in 2007.

In 2008, Christoph Jacobi starred in the critically acclaimed film “The Baader Meinhof Complex” and in 2011 he appeared in the German comedy “Knallharte Jungs”. He has also recently been seen in the TV series “Tatort”, “Der Kriminalist” and “SOKO München”.
