Christoph Jablonka is a German actor, best known for his role as Franz in the Academy Award winning film The Lives of Others. Born in 1979 in Berlin, Jablonka was always passionate about performing. He started his acting career in theatre, performing in numerous plays in Germany and abroad.

In 2005, he made his film debut in the drama The Lives of Others, directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck. His performance as Franz, a young man who falls in love with an East German Stasi spy, earned him critical acclaim and a Bavarian Film Award nomination for Best Young Actor.

Jablonka went on to appear in numerous films and TV series, including the romantic comedy Kebab Connection (2006), the thriller The Wave (2008), and the drama The Edge (2010). He has also appeared in a handful of English-language films, including the sci-fi thriller In Time (2011) and the action-adventure Total Recall (2012).

In addition to acting, Jablonka is also an accomplished musician. He wrote and performed the song "The Great Unknown" for the film Kebab Connection, and has released two solo albums, On the Road (2007) and The Wavering (2010).

In recent years, Jablonka has moved away from acting to focus on his music career. He has toured extensively throughout Europe, performing in countries such as France, Spain, and the Netherlands.
