Christine Marran is an American actress and model best known for her roles in the television series “Veep” and “Supergirl.” Marran was born in San Diego, California in August of 1985. She was raised in the San Diego area and attended the University of California, San Diego for her studies.

Marran began her career as a model in her teens and then moved into acting in her early twenties. She made her television debut in the series “Veronica Mars” in 2006. She went on to appear in a number of series including “Greek”, “NCIS” and “90210”. In 2012, she had a recurring role in the HBO series “Veep”.

In 2015, Marran was cast in the role of Kara Danvers/Supergirl in the series “Supergirl”. She appeared as a series regular for the first four seasons of the show. Her portrayal of the character was praised by fans and critics alike and she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television in 2016 and 2017.

Marran has also appeared in a number of films including “Jenny”, “The Country Club” and “The Pact”. In addition to her acting work, she is also a successful model and has appeared in campaigns for brands such as CoverGirl, L’Oreal and Revlon.
