Christian Suau is a French-Canadian film director, actor, and screenwriter who has been a part of the film industry for many years. He is known for his work on many award-winning films, such as ‘The Decline’, ‘The Little Prince’, ‘The Intouchables’ and ‘The Artist’.

Born in Montreal, Canada in 1974, Christian was exposed to film early in his life. His parents were both passionate about film and encouraged him to explore the art form. At the age of 10, Christian began making short films with his father’s Super 8 camera. He continued to pursue his passion for film throughout high school and eventually enrolled in a film studies program at the University of Montreal.

Christian completed his studies in 1998 and immediately began working in the film industry. He started out as an assistant director and worked his way up to directing his own films. His first feature-length film, ‘The Decline’, was released in 2002 to critical acclaim. The film won several awards, including the Best Canadian Feature Award at the 2002 Toronto International Film Festival.

Since then, Christian has gone on to direct several successful films. ‘The Little Prince’, released in 2011, was a box office hit and earned numerous awards, including the Best Animation Feature at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. In 2014, he directed ‘The Intouchables’, which became the second highest-grossing French film of all time.

Christian also has a successful career as an actor. He has appeared in several films, including ‘The Artist’, ‘Soul Kitchen’, and ‘A Monster in Paris’. He also appeared in the television series ‘Tout le monde en parle’ in 2006.
