Chris Nicola (born August 30, 1970) is an American actor best known for his roles in films such as The Notebook, She's All That, and Boys Don't Cry. Born in Passaic, New Jersey to a family of Italian descent, Chris grew up in a close-knit family, surrounded by music and theater. His father was a local bandleader and Chris was exposed to music and theater at a young age.

Chris pursued his passion for acting, and in 1993 he was cast in his first film, the romantic comedy She's All That. His performance earned him critical acclaim, and he went on to appear in several other films such as Boys Don't Cry, The Notebook, and Big Fish. In addition to his film roles, Chris also starred in the television series The O.C. and Judging Amy.

In 2007, Chris was cast in the lead role in the film adaptation of the classic novel, The Notebook. He starred alongside Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling as Noah Calhoun, a young man who falls in love with a woman from a wealthy family.
