Chris Newman is an American actor and voice actor who has been in the industry for over twenty years. He is best known for his roles in the films, "The Wedding Singer," "The Terminal," "The Break-Up," and "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas." He has also appeared in television shows such as "The West Wing," "Arrested Development," and "Grey's Anatomy."

Newman was born and raised in the small town of White Plains, New York. He attended White Plains High School where he was very active in the theatre department. After high school, he attended SUNY Purchase where he studied theatre and film. It was during his college years that he began to pursue acting as a career.

Newman's first major film role came in 1998 when he was cast as Rob in the romantic comedy, "The Wedding Singer." This was followed by roles in "The Terminal" and "The Break-Up." In 2011, he starred in the hit comedy "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas."

On television, Newman has had recurring roles in several series. He was a series regular on "The West Wing" as the character, Josh Lyman. He also had a recurring role on the cult classic, "Arrested Development" as Michael Bluth's attorney. He has also guest starred on shows such as "Grey's Anatomy," "Castle," and "The Good Wife."

In addition to his acting work, Newman has done voice work for several animated series. He has been heard in "The Simpsons," "Futurama," and "Family Guy" as well as video games such as "Grand Theft Auto V" and "L.A. Noire."
