Chris Johnson is an award-winning American film and television director. He has directed and produced a number of critically acclaimed projects including the feature films "A Single Shot" and "The Skeleton Twins", as well as the television series "American Vandal", "Glow", and "The Good Place".

Johnson grew up in Los Angeles, California. He studied film at the University of Southern California and after graduating went on to work as a production assistant for a number of independent films. His first directing job was for the short film "My Name is Quentin" which he wrote, directed, and produced with his own money. The film was accepted into a number of film festivals and won a number of awards.

Johnson then went on to direct the feature film "A Single Shot" which starred Sam Rockwell and William H. Macy. The film received critical acclaim and was featured at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. It was also nominated for a number of awards including the Grand Jury Prize at the San Francisco International Film Festival.

After directing "A Single Shot", Johnson went on to direct the feature film "The Skeleton Twins" starring Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig. The film was released in 2014 and received critical acclaim. It was nominated for a number of awards including the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
