Chris Dickerson (born October 9, 1949) is an American professional bodybuilder and actor. He is best known for being the winner of the Mr. Olympia title in 1982.

Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Chris Dickerson was the youngest of five children. He was raised in a strict Christian family and learned the value of hard work and determination from an early age. He started training in martial arts at the age of 13, and by the age of 15 he was a black belt.

At the age of 19, Dickerson began bodybuilding as a way to stay in shape for martial arts. He quickly realized his potential and began competing in bodybuilding competitions. He won the Mr. America title in 1976, and went on to win the Mr. Universe title in 1977. In 1982, Dickerson achieved the highest accolade in bodybuilding by winning the Mr. Olympia title.

In addition to his bodybuilding career, Chris Dickerson has also enjoyed success as an actor. He has appeared in several movies, including 'Rocky III', 'Death Wish 3', and 'The Terminator'. He also starred in the television series 'Viper' and had a recurring role on the hit show 'Baywatch'.

As well as his bodybuilding and acting career, Chris Dickerson has also been involved in several other ventures. In 1991, he co-founded the Chris and Terry Dickerson Charitable Foundation, which helps disadvantaged youths in the Los Angeles area. He has also written several books about fitness and nutrition, and he runs his own fitness website.

Despite enjoying a successful career, Chris Dickerson still values his faith and his family. He is an active member of his church, and he is a devoted father to his two sons. At the age of 71, Chris Dickerson is still an inspiration to many people, and he continues to be an icon in the bodybuilding and fitness industry.
