Catherine James is an American actress, best known for her roles in films such as The Avengers, The Wolf of Wall Street, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 & 2. She was born on June 28, 1987 in Los Angeles, California.

James grew up in a family of four siblings and was always interested in the performing arts. She began acting at the age of five, appearing in local theater productions. She attended an all-girls school in Beverly Hills and continued to pursue her acting career. She was cast in her first major role in the independent film, Sweet Little Lies, at the age of fourteen.

James soon became a household name in Hollywood and began landing roles in blockbusters like The Avengers and The Wolf of Wall Street. In 2013, she was cast as Katniss Everdeen’s best friend, Primrose Everdeen, in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 & 2.
