Caroline Heldman is an American professor, author, and political activist. She is most known for advocating for the rights of women, people of colour, and the LGBTQ+ community.
Born in 1975 in Los Angeles, California, Heldman was raised in a conservative family with a strong commitment to public service. She attended Stanford University as an undergraduate and obtained her doctorate in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2004.
