Carol Wheeler is an American actress best known for her roles in the 1980s movies “The Outsiders” and “Sixteen Candles”. She was born in New York City on February 5, 1963.

Carol began her acting career in 1981 at the age of 18, appearing as an extra in the film “The Outsiders”. She then went on to appear in several other films, including “Valley Girl”, “The Last Starfighter”, “The War of the Roses” and “Sixteen Candles”. She also starred in several TV shows, including “The Facts of Life”, “Cheers”, “Growing Pains” and “Family Ties”.

In 1985, Carol decided to take a break from acting and pursue a career as a professional photographer. She traveled the world, taking photos of some of the world’s most exotic locations. During this time, she also studied under renowned photographer Ansel Adams.

In 1988, Carol returned to acting, appearing in the movie “The Blob” and the TV series “21 Jump Street”. She then went on to appear in a number of other films, including “Lethal Weapon 4”, “The Mummy” and “The X-Files”. She also appeared in a number of TV shows, including “Friends”, “The West Wing” and “CSI Miami”.

In addition to her acting career, Carol has also done extensive work as a voice actress. She provided the voice of the character “Jill” in the animated series “The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest” and the character “Lana Lang” in the animated series “Superman: The Animated Series”.

Carol has also written several books, including “The Art of Seeing” and “The Art of Seeing Through the Lens”. She also wrote and directed the short film “The New Girl”.
