Carlos Oteyza is a Spanish film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his award-winning films, including The Good Life and The Innocents.

Oteyza was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1976. He studied film at the University of Seville and the University of Madrid, and began his career as an assistant director for the Spanish film director Pedro Almodóvar in 1999. He has gone on to direct numerous films, including the critically acclaimed The Good Life and The Innocents.

In 2013, Oteyza directed his first feature-length film, The Good Life. The film tells the story of a middle-aged man who embarks on a journey of self-discovery and redemption.
