Candy Samples (born April 12, 1942) is an American model and actress. She is best known for her many appearances in men’s magazines, notably Playboy, as well as her roles in a number of B-grade films.

Samples was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised in Wichita, Kansas. After spending her teen years as a dancer in local clubs, she moved to Los Angeles in the early 1960s to pursue a career in show business. She began as a showgirl at the Pussycat Theatre, and soon after began appearing in B-grade movies.

In the mid-1960s, Samples began to appear in men’s magazines such as Fling, Cavalier, and Gent. Her popularity soared after appearing in Playboy magazine in 1967. She was featured in the magazine repeatedly over the next decade. In the 1970s, she also began appearing in a number of soft core films, such as “The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann” (1974) and “The Swinging Cheerleaders” (1974).

In the 1980s, Samples retired from the entertainment industry and moved to Arizona. She has since returned to Los Angeles, where she continues to be a popular figure in the adult entertainment industry. Her career has been honored with several awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2008 AVN Awards.
