Bruce Milne (born November 10, 1958) is an English actor, known for his roles in various television shows and films. He is best known for playing the role of Doctor John "Digger" Morris in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 1997 to 1999.

Milne was born in Essex, England, and attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He made his professional debut in the play The Killing of Sister George in 1982. Since then, he has appeared in a variety of television shows, films, and stage productions.

Milne's first major television role was in the ITV drama series Dempsey and Makepeace, as Noel Makepeace. He then went on to play the role of Dr. John “Digger” Morris in EastEnders from 1997 to 1999. His other television credits include roles in The Bill, Casualty, Holby City, Doctors, and The Bill spin-off series, Burnside.

Milne has also appeared in several films including The Last Door, The Rapture, and The Kings of Mykonos. He has also appeared in various stage productions, including the revival of the musical Blood Brothers at the Phoenix Theatre in London.

Outside of acting, Milne is a keen golfer and enjoys playing the game whenever he gets the chance. He is also an avid collector of classic cars and a passionate supporter of his local football team, West Ham United.

Milne is married to actress Joanne McGuinness, with whom he has two children. They currently reside in London.

Despite his many television and film appearances, Milne is best remembered for his memorable portrayal of Doctor John "Digger" Morris in EastEnders. He is remembered to this day for his unforgettable performance and for bringing a sense of warmth and humour to the show.
