BIO

Brittany Huckabee is an award-winning director, producer, and writer who has made an indelible mark in the entertainment industry. Born in Austin, Texas, Brittany grew up in a family of creative minds and has been making movies since she was a child.

At the age of eight, Brittany started making short films with her brothers and sister. She was quickly recognized for her talents and went on to win a number of awards for her work, including the National Young Filmmaker’s Award from the National Film Academy.

In college, Brittany studied film and television production, and also took courses in editing, cinematography, and scriptwriting. After graduating, she began working in the documentary industry, producing and directing a number of acclaimed projects, such as “The Last of the Longleaf Pines” and “The Incredible Journey of the Monarch Butterfly.”

In 2012, Brittany made her feature film debut with “The Good Life,” a drama about a troubled family. This film won numerous awards and was praised by critics for its powerful performances and compelling story.

Since then, Brittany has gone on to direct a variety of projects, including romantic comedies, thrillers, and documentaries. Her work has been featured in festivals around the world, including the Tribeca Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival.

Outside of filmmaking, Brittany is a passionate advocate for gender equality in the entertainment industry. She is a proud member of the Alliance of Women Directors and works tirelessly to help promote more female filmmakers and directors.
