Brian Anderson is an American actor, comedian, and writer. He is best known for his role as Coach McBain on the hit television show, The Big Bang Theory.

Born in Los Angeles, California in 1973, Brian was raised in a family of actors and comedians. He attended the University of California – Los Angeles, and graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts in 1996. After college, he began performing stand up comedy in various clubs and venues around Los Angeles. It was during this time that he honed his skills as an improvisational comic.

In 2003, Anderson began appearing in television shows and films. He was cast as Coach McBain in The Big Bang Theory, and has since appeared in several other television shows and films, including The Mindy Project, Last Man Standing, and The Campaign.

Aside from his acting career, Anderson is also an accomplished writer and director. He has written several screenplays, including the upcoming film, The Package. He has also directed several short films, and was recently hired to direct an episode of the hit television show, Modern Family.

Anderson is also an active philanthropist, donating his time and money to numerous charities, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the American Cancer Society, and the Red Cross.

In addition to his acting, writing, and directing career, Anderson is also a husband and father. He and his wife have three children, and they reside in Los Angeles.
