Brendan Murray is an Irish actor and singer who rose to fame after appearing as a contestant on The X Factor UK in 2016. He was born in Dublin on March 12th, 1998, and began his career at a young age, performing in local theatre productions.

At the age of 16, he auditioned for The X Factor, singing a rendition of “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen. He made it through to the live shows and quickly became a fan favourite. After reaching the quarterfinals, he was eliminated but remained popular with the public.

After his time on The X Factor, Brendan went on to sign a record deal with Syco Music. His debut single, “Talking with Angels”, was released in 2017 and reached the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. He followed up with an EP, also titled Talking with Angels, the same year.

In 2018, Brendan made his acting debut in the ITV drama, Wild Coasts. He played the role of Ben, a young man struggling to come to terms with his father’s death. His performance was well-received and he earned critical acclaim.

In 2019, Brendan was cast as the lead role in the feature film, The Climb. He played the role of Luke, a young man struggling to cope with his recent break up with his girlfriend. He was praised for his performance and the film went on to receive numerous awards.

In 2020, Brendan starred in the popular BBC drama, The A Word. He played the role of Joe, a young man with autism, and was praised for his authentic and heartfelt performance.

Brendan Murray is a talented and versatile actor and singer. He has quickly established himself as an up and coming star. With his natural charisma and talent, he is sure to have a long and successful career ahead of him.
