She has won numerous awards for her performances, including an AVN Award for Best Actress in 2009 and an XBIZ Award for Female Performer of the Year in 2010.

Starr was born in Santa Clara, California, and was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended college and earned a degree in Psychology, with a focus on abnormal and clinical psychology. Starr was initially hesitant to enter the porn industry, but she was eventually convinced by her partner at the time, who was already working in the industry. She made her debut in 2007 with the film “Body Heat”, and quickly became a popular performer due to her willingness to perform a wide variety of sex acts. She has since appeared in over 150 films, and has directed several of her own movies.

In addition to performing, Starr has also become an outspoken advocate for sex worker rights. She has appeared in documentaries such as “Ask Me Anything: Porn Star Bobbi Starr” and “The Price of Pleasure”, and has also spoken at universities and other events about the need for better working conditions and safer sex practices in the porn industry.

Starr has also become an active member of the adult entertainment industry, appearing on various panels and speaking at conferences. She was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping improve the lives of adult performers.
