Bob Aspromonte (1937- ) is an American former professional baseball player and actor. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the youngest of five children. Bob Aspromonte started his professional baseball career in 1956 with the Milwaukee Braves. He was a third baseman and played for the Braves until 1961 when he was traded to the Houston Colt .45s. He remained with the Colt .45s until 1966 when the team changed its name to the Houston Astros. He played for the Astros until 1972 when he retired from professional baseball.

During his 16-year career, Bob Aspromonte was known for his consistency and ability to hit to all fields. He was an All-Star in 1962 and was a key contributor to the Astros first-ever playoff appearance in 1980. After his retirement from professional baseball, he became a successful businessman. He owned several bowling alleys and was a partner in a well-known Houston restaurant.

Bob Aspromonte also had a successful post-baseball career as an actor. He appeared in several television shows, including "The Love Boat," "Fantasy Island," "Father Murphy," and "The A-Team." He also had roles in feature films such as "The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings," "The Duke of Hazzard," and "The Cannonball Run."
