Birgit Müller is a German actress whose career has spanned the past four decades. She has been a prominent figure in German cinema, television, and theater.

Müller was born in Berlin in 1961. She attended the Berlin University of the Arts, where she studied acting and theatre. After graduating, she began her career performing in various Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway productions. She eventually moved to New York City and appeared in several productions at the Public Theater.
