Beni B, born Benita Okuboyejo in 1987, is an actress and singer-songwriter best known for her roles in the films “The Sitter” (2011) and “Honeytrap” (2014). She has also appeared in numerous television shows including “The Vampire Diaries” (2013) and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (2014).

Growing up in a family of immigrants from Nigeria, Beni was always passionate about the arts. She studied acting at the University of Southern California and went on to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. After college, Beni started her career with small roles on various television shows, including “The Office” and “How I Met Your Mother”.

In 2011, Beni landed her first major role in the movie “The Sitter” starring Jonah Hill. She also starred in “Honeytrap”, a coming-of-age drama about a young woman who is forced to make difficult decisions as she navigates life in a London housing estate. Beni has since appeared in a number of other television and film roles.

In addition to her acting career, Beni is also an accomplished singer-songwriter. She has released several singles, including “No Stress”, “Your Love”, and “Dreams”. She is currently working on her debut album, which is expected to be released later this year.

Beni is also an active humanitarian. She has partnered with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to raise awareness about the plight of refugees around the world. She has also been involved in campaigns to end poverty and raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.
