Becky Martin is an English actress best known for her role as Sue White in the television comedy series, The Thick of It. She has also appeared in films such as Bridget Jones’s Baby and The Inbetweeners Movie.

Martin was born in Brighton, England in 1980. She grew up in a creative family, with her father being an artist and her mother a costume designer. She attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before embarking on a career in acting.

Martin began her career in television, appearing in shows such as The Bill, Casualty and Heartbeat. Her big break came in 2009 when she was cast as Sue White in the BBC comedy series, The Thick of It. She went on to play the role for three series, before the show ended in 2012.

In 2011, Martin made her feature film debut in the romantic comedy Bridget Jones’s Baby. She also starred in the 2012 British comedy The Inbetweeners Movie, alongside Simon Bird and James Buckley.

In addition to her film and television work, Martin has also worked in theatre. She starred in the West End production of Blithe Spirit in 2011, and has appeared in plays such as Closer and The Country Wife.
