Barbara Leigh-Hunt is an English actress who has been in the entertainment industry since the 1950s. She has appeared in films, television, and on stage.

Born in London on October 7th, 1931, Barbara Leigh-Hunt studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and started her career as a stage actress. She made her debut in the East End production of 'The White Sheep of the Family' in 1951. From there, she moved to the West End and appeared in productions such as 'The Boy Friend', 'The Cherry Orchard', and 'The Bells of Hell'.

In 1959, she made her film debut in 'Room at the Top' and went on to appear in a number of films, including 'The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire' (1964), 'The Train' (1965), 'The Boys from Brazil' (1978), 'The Seventh Sign' (1988), and 'The Madness of King George' (1994). She also had roles in a number of television productions, including 'The Avengers', 'The Onedin Line', and 'The Professionals'.

In the 1970s, Barbara Leigh-Hunt began to focus more on her stage career and appeared in a number of productions at the National Theatre, including 'The Seagull' (1976) and 'The Cherry Orchard' (1979). She also appeared in a number of radio productions, including 'The Forsyte Saga' and 'The Last of the Mohicans'.

In the 1980s, she was a regular at the Chichester Festival Theatre, appearing in productions such as 'The Importance of Being Earnest' (1984) and 'The Taming of the Shrew' (1987). She also appeared in several television series, including 'Mapp and Lucia', 'The Bill', and 'Lovejoy'.
