Balázs Barna Hídvégi is a Hungarian actor, born on August 17, 1971 in Budapest, Hungary. His parents were both teachers. He studied acting at the University of Theater and Film Arts in Budapest, graduating in 1995.

His career began in 1997 when he appeared in the Hungarian film "The Last Dance". Since then, he has appeared in numerous films, television series, theater performances, and voice-over roles. He is best known for his roles in the hit television series "Fölszállott a Páva", the feature films "Macskafogó" and "Európa Expressz", and his voice-over work in the cartoon series "Mancs őrjárat".

In 2003, he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Hungarian Film Festival for his performance in the feature film "A szerelem évei". In 2006, he was nominated for Best Actor at the Hungarian Film Festival for his performance in the feature film "Árvácska".

Aside from his acting career, Balázs is also a dedicated philanthropist. He is the founder of the Barna Balázs Foundation, which focuses on providing resources and support to children in need. He is also an active member of the Hungarian Charity Council.

Balázs is passionate about the environment and often speaks out about the need for global change. He is an active member of Greenpeace Hungary and serves as a board member of the Hungarian Environmental Partnership Foundation.

Balázs is married to fellow actor Zsuzsanna Ferenczi and has two children. He is a dedicated and loving father, often taking time off from his busy acting career to spend time with his family.
