Babú Santana (born May 12, 1956) is a Brazilian actor and comedian. He was born in the city of Salvador, Bahia, and is best known for his roles in the television series Os Normais, Sítio do Picapau Amarelo, and A Grande Família.

Santana began his acting career in 1976, appearing in the theater production “Teatro de Arena”. From there, he went on to appear in television shows like Fantástico, Chico City, and Pé na Cova.

In the early 2000s, Santana became a household name in Brazil after appearing in the sitcom Os Normais. He played the character Zeze, an unemployed man who is constantly trying to find ways to make money. The show gained immense popularity and Santana quickly became an iconic figure in Brazil.

In 2012, Santana starred in the successful television series Sítio do Picapau Amarelo, playing the role of the villain Zé Pretinho. The show was a huge success and made Santana even more popular.

In 2013, Santana joined the cast of the Brazilian comedy show A Grande Família, playing the role of the father of the family. The show was an instant hit and Santana quickly became a fan favorite.
