Ashley Kelly is an American actress, writer, and producer. She is best known for her lead roles in films such as “You Again”, “The Pledge”, and “The Messengers”.

Kelly was born in Los Angeles, California in 1980. She grew up in a small family with one older brother, and her parents were both teachers. She attended a performing arts school from fifth grade through twelfth grade, and she was involved in drama, dance, and choir. She also participated in several school plays.

Kelly attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in theater arts. She graduated in 2003 and moved to New York City to pursue her acting career.

Kelly's first role was in the 2004 film “You Again”, starring opposite Ashton Kutcher. She then went on to appear in a number of independent films, including “The Pledge” and “The Messengers”, both of which earned her critical praise.
