Arturo De La Garza is a Mexican-born film and television director, producer, and writer. He has directed and produced for some of the most important networks in the United States, including Fox, NBC, CBS, and HBO.

Born in Mexico City in 1967, Arturo's family immigrated to the United States when he was a young boy. Growing up in Orange County, CA, he was exposed to a variety of cultures, and this gave him a deep understanding of people from different backgrounds.

Arturo graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1991 with a degree in communications and media arts. After college, he worked as a production assistant for various networks, including Fox and NBC. In 1996, he directed and produced his first short film, “The Bully”, which won several awards at film festivals around the world.

In 2000, Arturo was hired by Fox to direct and produce the hit TV series “The X-Files”. His work on the show earned him two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Writing. After working on “The X-Files”, Arturo went on to direct and produce several other series for Fox, including “24”, “House”, and “Bones”.

In addition to his work in television, Arturo has also directed and produced several feature films, including “The Perfect Game” (2009), “The Lucky One” (2012), and “The 33” (2015). He has also written and directed several short films, including “The Last Time” (2011), and “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” (2008).

Throughout his career, Arturo has been committed to telling stories that explore human relationships and the complexities of the world we live in. He has earned numerous awards, including two Emmy Awards, a Directors Guild of America Award, and a Humanitas Prize.
