Aron Tager is a Canadian actor, best known for his roles in the Canadian television series “The Beachcombers” and “The Littlest Hobo.” He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1922 and studied theatre at the University of Manitoba.

Tager began his career in radio, playing various roles in radio dramas. He then moved to television in the 1950s, appearing in a variety of roles in various Canadian television programs and series. In 1960, he was cast in the lead role of Nick Adonidas in CBC’s “The Beachcombers.” He played the part of a Greek fisherman and portrayed the character with a strong presence and a great deal of humor. The series ran for 20 years and is still remembered fondly today.

In the late 1960s, Tager was cast in the lead role of the animal-loving drifter in the Canadian television series “The Littlest Hobo.” His character, London, was a drifter who traveled from place to place helping people and animals in need. He was known for his strong moral compass and altruistic nature. The show ran for six seasons and was popular with both children and adults.

Tager’s other television credits include “The Forest Rangers,” “The Edison Twins,” “The Trouble with Tracy,” and “The Littlest Hobo: The Movie.” He also had a role in the 1981 movie “Happy Birthday to Me.”
