Antonio Segura is a Spanish actor, best known for his roles in the films ‘La vida de los peces’ (2010) and ‘Los últimos días de Pompeya’ (2015). Born in Madrid, Spain, on December 20, 1983, Antonio was raised in a family of actors. His parents, Antonio and María Segura, were both professional actors and his brother, José María, is also an actor.

Antonio began his acting career at the age of seventeen, when he was cast in the play ‘La vida de los peces’. He played the role of Juan, a young fisherman who had to make difficult decisions in order to survive in a very hostile environment. This role earned him a lot of recognition and appreciation from critics and audiences alike.

After his success in ‘La vida de los peces’, Antonio went on to star in a number of films, including ‘El hombre sin nombre’ (2010), ‘La mirada del otro’ (2012) and ‘Los últimos días de Pompeya’ (2015). His performance in the latter was particularly praised by critics, with some even calling it a “masterpiece”.

In addition to his film roles, Antonio has also appeared in a number of television series, including ‘Cuéntame cómo pasó’ (2005–2006), ‘Sé quién eres’ (2008–2009), ‘Los misterios de Laura’ (2009–2010) and ‘The Young Pope’ (2016).

Throughout his career, Antonio has been nominated for several awards, including the Goya Awards for Best Supporting Actor for ‘La vida de los peces’ (2010) and ‘Los últimos días de Pompeya’ (2015).

In his personal life, Antonio is married to actress María del Mar and they have two children, Miguel and Rodrigo. Antonio is also an avid tennis player and has been a member of a local tennis club since 2009.
