Anthony Tudhope is an accomplished director, writer, and producer of film and television. He is best known for his work on the television series, The X-Files, for which he won an Emmy Award.

Tudhope was born in England in 1969. He attended the University of Sussex and Royal Holloway before receiving a Masters in Film and Television Production from the University of Manchester.

Tudhope’s career began with a role as a production assistant on the BBC drama series, Casualty. He then worked as a director and editor on a number of television projects, including the BBC’s BAFTA-winning drama documentary series, The Detectives.

In 1996, Tudhope was hired as a director and editor on the popular American science fiction drama series, The X-Files. He directed five episodes of the series, including the critically acclaimed episode, “Folie à Deux”, which earned him multiple awards and nominations, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.

Since then, Tudhope has gone on to direct episodes of several other popular television series, including House, CSI: Miami, The Good Wife, and The Mentalist. He has also directed two feature films, The Backwoods (2006) and The Revenant (2009).

Tudhope has also produced several films and television series, including the independent feature film, White Wall (2007). He is currently producing and directing the Netflix series, The OA.
