Anthony Butler is an American actor who has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. He is best known for his roles in the television series "The X-Files," "E.R.," and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

Born in California in 1974, Butler started his acting career as a child, appearing in television commercials and small film roles. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Southern California and earned a degree in theatre.

In 1996, Butler landed his first major role as Agent John Doggett in the hit television series "The X-Files." He was praised for his portrayal of the character and continued to appear on the show for the next four years.
