Ann-Marie Shimer is a celebrated American actor and director. She was born on October 4th, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York.

Ann-Marie started her career in theater at a young age. She acted in several plays in New York City, including “The Glass Menagerie” and “The Crucible”. During this time she also worked with several theater companies, such as The Public Theater and The Roundabout Theatre Company.

In 2000, Ann-Marie made her television debut in an episode of the popular drama series Law & Order. She then went on to appear in numerous television shows, including Unsolved Mysteries, The Education of Max Bickford, and The West Wing.

Ann-Marie made her feature film debut in 2004 with the drama, The Woodsman. She then went on to appear in many other films such as The Notorious Bettie Page, The Simpsons Movie, and The Devil Wears Prada.

In addition to acting, Ann-Marie has also directed several short films. Her directing credits include the critically acclaimed films, The Fence and The Longest Winter. She also wrote and directed the feature film, The Little Hawk, which was released in 2011.

Ann-Marie has been nominated for numerous awards, including an Independent Spirit Award and a Gotham Award. She has also been recognized for her work in theater, as she was nominated for an Obie Award for her performance in “The Glass Menagerie”.
