Anita Malavasi is an Italian actress who was born in Rome, Italy on September 15, 1961. She has worked in both Italian and international cinema, television, theater, and even theater directing. She is best known for her roles in films such as The Passion of the Christ, The Da Vinci Code, and The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Malavasi began her acting career in the late 1970s, appearing in several theatre productions. She then moved on to television in the 1980s, appearing in popular Italian television shows such as Fuori controllo, La notte del dottor Jekyll and Il commissario Rex. In the 1990s, Malavasi had some of her biggest roles, appearing in the films The Passion of the Christ, The Da Vinci Code and The Talented Mr. Ripley. She also starred in the Italian television series, Don Matteo.

In addition to her acting roles, Malavasi has also pursued a career in theater directing. She has directed several productions, including the musical La Bohème, which she wrote and directed in 2005.
