Andrew W. Saul is an American actor best known for his roles in the films 'The Big Easy' and 'The Waterboy'. He was born in New York City on April 17, 1959 and grew up in the Bronx.

Saul began his acting career in the late 1970s with roles on stage and television. His first major role was in the 1984 film 'The Big Easy', in which he played the lead role of Detective Ray St. Ives. He earned critical acclaim for his performance and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead. Following this success, he appeared in a variety of films including 'The Waterboy' (1998), 'The Negotiator' (1998), 'The Insider' (1999) and 'The Thomas Crown Affair' (1999).
