Andrew Sully is an award-winning director and producer who has created some of the most memorable films of the last decade. Born in England in 1967, Sully got his start in the film industry as a child actor, appearing in several British television shows. He quickly developed a passion for filmmaking and began to study the craft at the London Film School.

After graduating, Sully wrote and directed his debut feature film, “Blue Skies” in 1998. The movie earned critical acclaim and was nominated for five awards at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. His next feature, “The Girl Next Door” (2003), was also well-received and won the Best British Film award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

His biggest break came when he was chosen to direct “The Notebook” (2004). It was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $115 million worldwide and earning Sully an Oscar nomination for Best Director. He followed up the success of The Notebook with another romantic drama, “The Last Song” (2010). The film was an even bigger hit and grossed over $115 million domestically.

Sully has continued to create critically-acclaimed films in recent years, including his 2016 drama “Me Before You”, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Director. In 2019, he directed “Yesterday”, a musical comedy-drama about a struggling singer-songwriter who becomes a global superstar after a mysterious event erases The Beatles from everyone’s memory.
