Andrew Morgan is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his award-winning documentary The True Cost, which examines the human and environmental impact of the fashion industry.

Morgan was born in San Diego, California in 1979. He grew up in a creative family, with his mother a painter and his father a photographer. From a young age, Morgan was exposed to a wide range of art and culture, and developed a strong interest in storytelling.

Morgan's first foray into filmmaking was in 2002, when he created a short documentary about the California drought. This film was well-received, and Morgan soon decided to pursue filmmaking as a full-time career.

Morgan moved to Los Angeles and began working on various film projects, often collaborating with other filmmakers. In 2010, he directed his first feature film, "The Road to Recovery," a family drama about a father struggling with addiction.

In 2014, Morgan released his first major documentary, The True Cost.
