Andrea Esteban is an award-winning film and television director based in Los Angeles. She has directed episodes of hit shows such as Netflix’s ‘On My Block’, Hulu’s ‘The Act’, and Freeform’s ‘Grown-ish’. She is renowned for her innovative approach to storytelling and her ability to bring out the best in her actors.

Esteban was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, and studied literature and film at the University of Miami. After graduating, she moved to the US and then eventually to Los Angeles. She started her career working in the production offices of the hit show ‘Desperate Housewives’.

Esteban made her directorial debut in 2010 with the short film ‘Momma’s Boy’.
