Andre Weideman is a South African actor born on June 2, 1982 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is best known for his roles in the television series “Generations” and “The Wild”.

Andre attended the National School of the Arts in Johannesburg, where he studied acting and drama. After graduating, he worked as a professional stage actor in South Africa. He appeared in numerous plays including “The Seagull” and “The Tempest”. He also appeared in several short films.

In 2009, Andre was cast in the South African soap opera “Generations”, playing the role of the antagonist Tshidi. His performance earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the South African Film and Television Awards. During his time on “Generations”, Andre also appeared in several other television shows including “The Wild”, “Intersexions”, and “Ihawu”.

In 2013, Andre made his feature film debut in “A Million Colours”, a South African drama directed by Peter Bishai. He starred in the film alongside Sihle Dlamini, and his performance won him the Best Actor award at the San Diego Black Film Festival.

In 2014, Andre appeared on the American television series “Strike Back”, playing the role of an African warlord. He also had minor roles in “Saints and Strangers” and “The Good Lie”.
