András Monory Mész (born April 15, 1974) is a Hungarian director, producer, and screenwriter. He began his career in film as an assistant director in 1995 and has since gone on to become one of the most prolific and successful directors in Hungarian cinema. Monory Mész has directed a number of critically acclaimed feature films, including The Englishman (2008), White Palms (2006), and Hukkle (2002).

In 2002, Monory Mész released his first feature film, Hukkle, which was met with critical acclaim. The film follows an elderly man living in a small Hungarian village and tells the story of his mysterious past. The film was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 2003 Berlin International Film Festival and has since become a cult classic.

In 2006, he released his second feature film, White Palms, which tells the story of a talented young gymnast struggling to make it to the Olympics. The film was nominated for the Grand Prix at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival and was a critical and commercial success.
