Amy Christine Dumas, popularly known as Lita, is an American professional wrestler, and singer. She is best known for her time with WWE. She was born on April 14, 1975 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dumas began her career in wrestling in 1999 when she joined the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as Miss Congeniality. She quickly gained popularity with her in-ring skills and soon became a member of the Nitro Girls. In 2000, she joined World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and changed her name to Lita. She rose to fame as one of the most popular female wrestlers in the industry.

As Lita, she was one of the founding members of the Team Xtreme along with Matt and Jeff Hardy. She was involved in several memorable storylines and feuds with some of the most well-known wrestlers of her time, including Trish Stratus, Victoria, and Molly Holly. She was also known for her high-flying moves and in-ring innovations, which made her one of the most unpredictable and exciting wrestlers.

In 2006, Dumas retired from wrestling and formed a rock band called The Luchagors. She also wrote a book about her life in wrestling titled Lita: A Less Traveled R.O.A.D.--The Reality of Amy Dumas. In addition to her wrestling and music career, Dumas has been involved in several charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She has also done voice acting for several video games, including the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw series.

Today, Dumas continues to stay active in the wrestling industry, appearing at various wrestling conventions and events. In 2011, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. She has also released two new albums with The Luchagors and continues to be a role model for aspiring female wrestlers.

Dumas’s career has been an inspiration to many and she continues to be an icon for female wrestlers everywhere. Her achievements in the industry have cemented her place as one of the most influential wrestlers in history.
