Amber is an American actress, screenwriter, and producer who is most well-known for her roles in the widely successful films Jurassic Park: The Lost World, Pearl Harbor, and The Hangover.

Amber Laura Heard was born in Texas on April 22, 1986. She developed a love for the arts early in her life, and began acting in local theater productions when she was just 16. After graduating from high school, Amber moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

Amber's first major role was in the hit film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane in 2006. She quickly followed up this performance with roles in Pineapple Express and Never Back Down. Amber's breakout role came in 2008's The Informers, which earned her critical acclaim.
