Alia Ataya is a Jordanian actress and singer. She was born and raised in Amman, Jordan, and has been acting since she was a child. She started her acting career in 2006, when she starred in the Jordanian television series "Tash Ma Tash". Since then she has appeared in numerous Jordanian and Arab television series, films, and stage plays.

Ataya is best known for her role as “Mona" in the 2014 movie "Theeb", which won the Jury Prize at the 68th Venice International Film Festival. She also won the Best Actress Award at the Dubai International Film Festival for her performance in the film.

Ataya has also appeared in numerous television series, including "Mogab Al Hayah" (2016), "Hazewan" (2015), "Al Jawab Al Kabeer" (2013), and "Lam Al Aam" (2011). In addition to her acting career, Ataya is also an accomplished singer. Her debut single, "Ya Habibi", was released in 2015 and was an instant hit in the Arab world.

Ataya is also a philanthropist and is actively involved in promoting women's rights and empowerment in her home country of Jordan. She is a member of the Jordan Women's Union and has been a vocal advocate for Jordan's women, children, and other marginalized communities.
