After this role, she was cast in some of the biggest films of the time, including “Furious 7,” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,” and “The Divergent Series: Insurgent.” She also had a recurring role on the popular series “Shameless.”

In addition to her acting career, Alexis is an accomplished writer. She has written for television shows such as “Modern Family,” “The Middle,” “New Girl,” and “Black-ish.” She was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2018 for her writing on “Modern Family.”
