After graduating high school, Alexis attended the University of Southern California, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in theater. During her time at USC, she was a member of the prestigious improv comedy troupe The Groundlings. After graduating, she worked as a writer for various television shows.

Alexis made her onscreen debut in the independent film “Dirty Laundry” in 2013.
