Alexandre Garnizé is an accomplished French actor, director, and producer. Born in Aix-en-Provence in 1976, he has been acting since he was a young child. He trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris, where he received his diploma in 2002.
Garnizé’s acting career began when he was just 10 years old, appearing in the French television series “Les Enfants de la télé.” He went on to star in a number of other French television programs, as well as films such as “L’Auberge des Anges,” “Monsieur Batignole,” and “Les Femmes du 6ème étage.” He has also had roles in international films including “The Other Man” and “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.”

His first directorial effort was the short film “Tout est Possible,” which won a prize at the Avignon Film Festival in 2004. He later directed, co-wrote, and co-produced the feature film “Le Théâtre de la Mer,” which was nominated for a César Award for Best First Feature Film in 2009.
Garnizé’s other notable projects include the short film “La Dernière Fête,” which he wrote and directed. The film won the Jury Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2009. He also wrote, directed, and produced the feature film “La Vérité si je mens! 3” in 2013.
Garnizé has won numerous awards throughout his career, including the Prix de la Jeunesse at Cannes in 2012, the Best Actor Award at the Cabourg Romantic Film Festival in 2011, and the Best Actor Award at the Avignon Film Festival in 2004. He has also been nominated for several César Awards, including Best Supporting Actor in 2009 and Best Actor in 2012.
