Alexander Yuvchenko is a Russian actor and director best known for his roles in the film adaptations of the popular Russian novels, The Brothers Karamazov and War and Peace. He was born in Moscow in 1972 and attended the Moscow Art Theatre School from 1992 to 1996.

Yuvchenko's first acting role was in the 1997 film adaptation of The Brothers Karamazov, where he played the role of Grigory Karamazov, the brother of Dmitri and Ivan Karamazov. His performance in the film was praised by critics, and he went on to appear in several television shows and films in the following years.

In 2002, Yuvchenko starred in the film adaptation of War and Peace. He was cast as Pierre Bezukhov, the protagonist in the novel. His performance in the film was widely acclaimed, and he received a number of awards and nominations for his role.

Yuvchenko has also appeared in numerous stage productions over the years. In 2004, he was cast as Romeo in a production of Romeo and Juliet at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. He also starred in the 2008 production of The Seagull at the same theatre.
